Can't open pdf file, error message "gsdll32.dll wasnt f

Hello anh Quan,

I can open an image file ok in VietOCR, but pdf file give this error:
“The gsdll32.dll wasn't found in default dlls search path or is not in correct version (doesn't expose the required methods).
Please download, install GPL Ghostscript from http://sourceforge.net/projectsfghostscript/files and/or set the appropriate environment variable.”

I looked in help > installation section have this:
PDF support is possible via GPL Ghostscript. After installation of the library, please ensure the dynamic load library gsdll32.dll is in the search path by setting the PATH environment variable, as follows for version 8.70 on Windows:
set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files\gs\gs8.70\bin

I tried but still not figuring out how to do it, not sure where to go to set path. Have gs8.6 preinstalled, tried update to gs8.71 , it was installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\gs\gs8.71 because I use win7 64bit. VietOCR is located at C:\Program Files\VietUnicode\VietOCR.NET for 64bit version.

Evidently, PATH change made with SET command will remain only for the duration of the current CMD session. You'd want to persist the Path setting on a more permanent basis by changing it in Windows' Control Panel.

Follow the example described in this link and append your GS path to the current Path variable value, something like:

;C:\Program Files\gs\gs8.70\bin

Also, since you're using Win64, you should install the GS version for that; try file gs870w64.exe if gs871w64.exe is not yet available.
