TCVN, Telex, and VNI keyboard layouts for Mac OS X from version 10.2 that emit Vietnamese text in Unicode Normalization Form C (NFC), where the entire vowel including the intonation mark is represented by a single code point. The TCVN layout is functional on Mac OS X 10.2; Telex and VNI require version 10.3, codename “Panther”.

Do you know which is the best vietnamese keyboard for Mac OSX ? I tried this vietnamese 1.2 from admin, but it dosen't work well. Does everybody knows where can I download vietnamese keyboard and fonts ????

You already have the best keyboard layouts. For fonts, go to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... e_id=59136 . Your problem may be that you are trying to use an application that is not Unicode-capable. Examples of Unicode-capable word processors are Mellel ( free trial at http://www.redlers.com/ ) and Nisus Writer Express, the latter of which is compatible with the .doc format ( free trial at http://www.nisus.com/ ), of a text editor SubEthaEdit ( free at https://www.codingmonkeys.de/subethaedit/ ), of a graphics program OmniGraffle ( free demo at http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnigraffle/ ). Apple's own software except AppleWorks is fine, too—you should have no problem typing proper Vietnamese on this forum using Safari. If you could explain what exactly doesn't work well for you, I might be able to give further advice.

To herr and admin,
I just join this forum today. I wish I knew this forum earlier. I am using OS X.2.8, safari is my favorite browser. I sometimes go back to several Vietnamese forums in Viet Nam to share my thoughts and knowledge with friends over there. I tried VietPad, but not success with it. I am not too sharp how to set my G4 to be able to join Vietnamese typing in those forum. Wondering you can shed some lights to my Vietnamse typing problems. Thanks in advance!

Tôi tìm bộ gõ này từ lâu, nay mới thấy. Xin cám ơn herr. Liệu có thể đánh dâú theo từ, không theo ký tự đươcj không. Tôi gõ theo telex cuả vietkey,unikey và vietdict, đến khi gõ bằng bộ gõ này bị lẫn lộn khá nhiêù

I use a Tibook 800 with french azerty keyboard layout. It seems to me that all vietnamese keyboard layouts use standard qwerty keyboard layout (US). How can I change it?

I have added an AZERTY version of Telex to the collection of Vietnamese keyboard layouts, now at Version 1.4. Please download from http://www.ils.uec.ac.jp/~herr/Vietnamese-1.4.dmg and install. Activate the "Vietnamese-AZERTY" layout.
